I was gonna write this in a friend's blog about Brokeback Mountain... but decided I'd bring my soapbox to my own forum.

The fact that this movie can come out is bad enough.
The fact that The Man wants us to believe that homosexual cowboys' gay ass love affair and the drama and/or persecution they suffer is Oscar material should make any of us Red Pillers laugh.

You will hear me say over and over and over again..... Life Imitates Art.

Popular mediums contribute to America's attitudes and opinions.

The gangsta-fication of America came thru movies and music. Think: Scarface, NWA, 50 cent. Cinema or Studio gangsta.

The forni-fication came thru music and videos. (Can you imagine Girls Gone Wild commercials airing on TV in the 80's?)

The gay-ification of America is coming in the same way.

How can you say GAY COWBOYS and not laugh?
The fact that they want to humanize and make us sympathize with these characters is more suspect than OJ's bloody glove. Why?

Cuz this comes from the same country that refuses to humanize the suffering of Slavery.
Institutionalized Racism.
Jim Crow.
Environmental Terrorism.

They will never make a movie about Henry "Box" Brown. EVER.
